Coexisting with Wildlife

Every native wild animal has an important role to play in the ecosystems in which they live. We have to stop seeing our amazing wildlife as a nuisance and start to see them for what they really are:

Part of our natural world and methods of balance for mother nature.

At the Wildlife Center of Southwest Florida, we understand that every species plays a crucial role in maintaining a healthy ecosystem.

Ecosystems have a delicate system of checks and balances that keeps them functioning properly.

Removing one species from the equation can cause a trophic cascade, leading to negative consequences for the entire system.

By understanding the roles that different animals play in the ecosystem, we can work to protect and preserve these natural systems for future generations.
